The challenge
Local service directories (pilates studios, in this case) are a genuinely hard SEO problem: hundreds of city and region pages are needed to capture local search intent, but a template with the city name swapped reads as thin, doorway-style content that Google penalizes. The brief for Pilates Rehberi was to build a directory covering pilates and reformer studios across Turkey, city by city and district by district — and later, the same problem again for the UK market with Pilates Studios UK.
What we did
Built a Next.js/React architecture with static generation (SSG) so every city and studio page loads fast and is fully crawlable at first paint.
Designed a content model where each location page is genuinely differentiated — real district names, real studio comparisons — rather than a single template with a swapped city name.
Implemented Schema.org markup (LocalBusiness, Service, BreadcrumbList) across every page so search engines understand the geographic and business structure, not just the text.
Reused the exact same architecture for the UK market (Pilates Studios UK), validating that the system generalizes beyond a single country's directory structure.
The outcome
Both directories are live and indexed, each covering studios and classes across dozens of cities and regions with structured, schema-marked pages built for genuine local search intent rather than doorway-page volume. It's the same programmatic-SEO system runIT later used to build its own multi-city location pages.
