The challenge
Mayday International runs aeromedical evacuation, telemedicine and round-the-clock case management for an international clientele — a category where a broken form or a slow page isn't a minor inconvenience, it can delay a real emergency response. The existing site was built on Webflow, which had carried the brand well early on but was reaching the limits of what a visual site builder can support for a platform this operationally complex.
What we did
Rebuilt the site on Nuxt 4 and Vue 3, moving off a visual-builder platform onto a codebase the team can extend and maintain long-term.
Preserved and re-implemented every operational edge case the aeromedical and case-management workflows depended on — not a redesign that quietly drops functionality, a faithful, more capable rebuild.
Built the new site multilingual from the ground up (i18n), matching the reality of an international emergency-medicine clientele.
Planned and executed the cutover from Webflow to the new stack with zero downtime, because for this client, downtime isn't just lost traffic.
The outcome
Mayday International now runs on a codebase that scales with the organization instead of constraining it, with the same operational depth as before and full multilingual support built in from day one — delivered without a single hour of the site being unavailable.
